General Rental Conditions

Prices
The above prices are available only if booked online on our site. Offline prices may differ from the above prices.

The rental price includes

• 1 Helmet for 50 CC, and 2 helmets for 125 CC scooters
• Unlimited mileage
• Anti-theft lock
• Third-party liability insurance
• Free road assistance (only within the city)

Hourly Rental
You can book the scooter for a fixed schedule during the day.
Half day-4 hours: from 10 AM to 2 PM or from 2 PM to 6 PM (not available on weekends and national holidays)
Full day-8 hours: from 10 AM to 6 PM available every day

Daily Rental
You can book the scooter for one or more days. One day is 24 hours starting from your confirmed pick-up time. Pick-up of the scooters is available between 10 AM and 6 PM.

Driver’s license
The driver must hold a valid driver’s license eligible to drive the rented scooter in Hungary

50 cc scooter
Car or Moped license (EU “B” or “AM” category or an international equivalent)
50 cc scooters are only for 1 person, they are forbidden to carry a passenger and are not allowed on motorways and expressways.

125 cc scooter
Motorcycle license ( EU “A1” category or higher or an international equivalent)
125 cc scooters are eligible to carry a passenger and are allowed on motorways and expressways with a valid toll road ticket.

Use of the scooter
The scooter must not be driven by anyone other than the person indicated in the rental agreement as the driver. The use of the scooter for delivery services is forbidden.

Security Deposit
The security deposit is your guarantee for the damages, theft, or loss of the scooter and it is payable at the beginning of the rental. The deposit will be immediately refunded after the termination of the rental if the scooter is returned undamaged.
The security deposit is 200 EUR /80.000 HUF which can be paid with cash or credit card. Instead of cash, we accept an EU National ID or an international Passport.

Third-Party Liability Insurance
All our scooters are provided with a Third Party Liability Insurance. This insurance covers your liability towards third parties in case of an accident that involves damage to a third-party vehicle or injuries of persons due to your fault. This insurance does not cover the damage to your scooter or the injuries of the driver. If damage occurred in your scooter due to another driver’s fault then his insurance should cover the damages to your scooter.

Liability
The renter drives the scooter at his/her own risk. The lessor is under no circumstances liable for any direct or indirect damages to the driver arising out of or in connection with the rental. The driver is liable for all fines for breaking traffic rules. The renter acknowledges that the scooters are not insured against property damage, theft, or loss and therefore the renter is fully liable for any damage, theft, or loss of the scooter. The maximum liability of the renter is:
50 cc scooter: 200.000 HUF/ 500 EUR
125 cc standard scooter: 300.000 FUF/750 EUR
125 cc Maxi scooter: 400.000 HUF/1000 EUR

Fuel policy
The rental price does not include Fuel (except otherwise agreed) The scooters are provided with a full tank of fuel and must be returned with a full tank otherwise we may apply the below refill service charge:
50 cc scooter: 10 EUR/ 4.000 HUF
Standard 125 cc scooter: 12 EUR / 4.800 HUF
125 cc Maxi scooter: 20 EUR / 8.000 HUF
You must keep the receipt for the petrol and show it at drop off.  An optional Fuel Package (you can bring back the scooter with an empty tank) is available at a reduced price at the beginning of the rental.

Reservation
You can book the scooter online until midnight the day before the rental. For same-day reservations please call +36 309845100

Pick up and Drop off time
Pick up and drop off of the scooters is available from Monday to Sunday 10.00-18.00  according to the time confirmed in your reservation. If you would like to change your pick-up or drop-off time please call the office. Please note that we may cancel your reservation without notice if you don’t pick up the scooter 30 minutes after the confirmed pick-up time. If you may have a delay picking up the scooter please call the office.

Pick-up and drop-off location
The scooters must be picked up and dropped off at our office at 1053 Budapest Vamhaz körút 10  ( The office is located inside the house courtyard).

Delays and rental extensions
The scooter must be brought back by the time indicated in your rental agreement. The grace period for delays is 30 minutes (not applicable for 4-hour rentals). For delays over the grace period, we may charge a 1-day extra rental cost. In case you have a delay please call our office. You can prolong your rental by phone subject to availability.

Rental Add-ons

Fuel Package
The scooters are provided to you with a full tank and must be brought back with a full tank. If you don’t want to hassle with refilling the scooter before bringing it back, you can buy the Fuel Package and bring back the scooter with an empty tank. You can buy the fuel package during the booking process or at check-in. The prices of the Fuel Package you can find in the price list.

Motorway Toll Ticket
Motorways and expressways are toll roads in Hungary and to use them you have to buy a ticket in advance. The ticket for motorcycles costs 8 EUR/ 3200 HUF (2023) and is valid for up to 10 days for all the motorways and expressways in Hungary. You can buy the ticket in our office. If you use the highways without a ticket you will get a fine. Only 125 cc and bigger scooters are allowed on motorways and expressways, the 50 cc scooters are forbidden.
